In the Matsue neighborhood of Edogawa Ward, Marushin operates as a dedicated takeout specialty shop offering grilled meat bento boxes and prepared sides. The house specialty is yakiniku bento, grilled fresh to order so that every meal is packed warm. Diners can select their preferred cuts, from classic or premium kalbi to popular skirt steak, all coated in a rich, deeply soaked marinade that whets the appetite.

Beyond the careful grilling of the meat, the accompaniments packed alongside are just as substantial. The bento box comes filled with generous portions of seasoned vegetable namul and spicy kimchi. Thoughtfully packaged, sides with juices are kept in separate small packets so flavors do not muddle together, preserving the taste of each component down to the last bite.

Along with bento boxes, the front display case holds various cuts handy for grilling at home, including pre-marinated kalbi, beef offal, omasum, and pig's trotters. Korean-style side dishes like pickled perilla leaves, extra kimchi, and seasoned miso pastes are also available for take-home dining. The shop operates purely for takeout with no dine-in facilities, and payment is cash only.
